Students in Year 10 and Year 12 were the audience for a presentation this week from Helen Sharman. Helen is the first British astronaut and spent time in orbit on the Mir space station. Helen spoke about her life and incredible career. She is now an ambassador, encouraging students to follow STEM education and careers. Students asked questions about Helen’s time in space and we were very fortunate to hear about her life journey.
