We have launched a new initiative in school which aims to empower girls to understand their friendships and help them to feel more confident in solving their own disputes.
We all know that ‘Happier girls do better’ and we have worked with a national company called ‘Girls on Board’ to train a number of staff in understanding the complexities of female friendships.
‘Girls on Board' is a recognised way of dealing with female friendships and conflicts and has been rolled out in a number of schools across the country.
We have shared this training and information with students to educate them on the ways that their friendships affect their feelings of self-worth and their overall attitude to school and learning.
