Our Junior, Senior and Ruskington choirs, plus cornet player Will D, travelled to the Royal Albert Hall in London to perform as part of Lincolnshire Music Service’s Massed Ensemble, led by Boston Music Centre.
They performed a ten minute Beyoncé medley, which was inspired by her Coachella performance. The students worked extremely hard to prepare for the event and learnt the whole piece by heart, including a full dance routine! This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to work with other musicians in the local area and perform at a world renowned venue. At the end of the performance, the young musicians were surprised to watch a video message from Beyonce’s Dad and manager congratulating them on their performance!
