Gives students access to a huge range of employers, services and higher education providers. Instead of going out into the workplace, students interact with a variety of employers and learn about work place expectations. The event is specifically arranged to enable students to discover multiple different industries rather than just one that traditional work experience provides. Students select a combination of experiences targeted towards their interests and aspirations as well as exploring those that may not yet have occurred to them. Employers give students specific information about the qualifications needed to pursue a career in their field as well as providing advice on possible pathways to enter their profession or industry, ensuring students begin to make vital early decisions about their futures pathway. Students can arrange their own work experience during school holidays should they wish to do so.
