During Year 13, your son or daughter can apply for university, employment, apprenticeships, college or a gap year. Click on the links below for further information. The Careers Team assist students with personal statement writing, university applications, CV and cover letter writing, searching and applying for apprenticeships and employment. When the Covid situation permits, a Recruitment Event is held in March, featuring local and national employers who are currently recruiting school leavers.
University
UCAS stands for Universities and Colleges Admissions Service. It’s the centralised service that students use to apply to university and some degree courses at college. Applying for university and UCAS is launched to students in Term 6 of Year 12.
