Positive Wellbeing

Try and focus on the things you can control:

  • Good sleep routine
  • Healthy diet
  • Regular exercise
  • Keep a mood diary
  • Communicate with others
  • Follow your school timetable
  • Find enjoyment in the little things

Try and eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day: fruit yoghurts, fruit juice, soups and baked beans all count as a portion.

Keep a daily mood diary to track how you are feeling whilst off school. There are lots of free journal apps and printable mood trackers online.

It is important to still stay in regular contact with family and friends, during this period of social distancing. Here are some apps which allow you to make free video calls through the internet:

Why not put a smile on your face and check out Monterey Bay Aquarium, they have daily live cam recordings on their website: www.montereybayaquarium.org/animals/live-cams

HEADSPACE is a great app to focus the mind, learn new ways to relax, and improve your general mood and sleep habits; it is also NHS recommended.

If you are worried about how you are feeling, it is important to reach out to those around. There is also free and confidential support and advice available online:
