APPRENTICE FINANCE ASSISTANT
Salary: National Apprentice Rate: £4.81 per hour, £9,279.89 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
Contract Basis: 18 month apprenticeship
Closing Date: 9am on Monday 20 February 2023

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Finance Assistant, undertaking a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification in partnership with Priory Apprenticeships. 

The successful candidate will support the Finance Officer with administrative duties around the Academy Finances, School Fund, SCITT and Parent Pay.

Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular MS Word, Excel, Outlook is essential.

Corporate Services - Receptionist / Reprographics
Salary: NJC Scale 1, pts £20,258 to £20,812 (actual)
Contract Basis: The post is offered on a permanent basis  
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Closing Date: 9am on Monday 20 February 2023

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Receptionist / Reprographics Assistant to be responsible for all the reprographics and to assist with the efficient and effective running of the very busy Reception across the Ruskington and Sleaford campuses.   The primary base will be confirmed upon appointment.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills and provide assistance to all visitors, callers and staff.

You will be required to have knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular MS Word, Excel, Outlook. You should also have experience of providing administrative support in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration/ Customer Services or equivalent qualification in a related area or have the ability to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates accountability, ownership of work duties and activities and carries them out with accuracy, integrity and customer focus.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator - SENCO
Salary: Leadership Pay Scale L10

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
Salary: NJC Scale 1, points 1-3 £9,284.57 to £9,538.47 (actual)
Hours: 39 weeks per year (primarily term time with flexibility for up to 6 weeks to be worked during school holiday periods)
20 hours per week
Contract Basis: Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.

Interview Date: Interviews will take place during week commencing 6 February 2023

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Technician to help with the smooth running of the Design and Technology Department at our Sleaford Campus.

Whilst primarily a term time role, the nature of the duties to be supported allow flexibility for specific activities to be completed during school holiday periods. Working arrangements will be reviewed and agreed on an annual basis but with a general expectation that a minimum of 33 weeks will be worked during term time. The remaining weeks will be planned in consideration of the departmental requirements and in agreement between the Head of Faculty and post holder. The post therefore offers a unique opportunity to support the Teaching and Learning of our students, with opportunity to take some leave during term times.

Duties will include maintaining, servicing and cleaning equipment; maintaining hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the department; pre-class preparation for displays and exercises; ensuring equipment and materials are available for staff and that work areas are kept clean and tidy.  A willingness to be flexible, a cheerful disposition and an interest in technology are required.  Current and relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Teacher of Boys’ PE with Leadership Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Boys’ PE to join a successful and talented team of staff.

First and foremost, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of success at Key Stage 4 and 5. A specialism in Rugby would be an advantage, but not essential. Due to the experience of the existing team, we are able to confirm the curriculum leadership responsibility depending on the strengths of the successful applicant.

CASUAL COVER SUPERVISOR
Salary: NJC Scale 3, pt5, currently £11.18 per hour
Hours: Casual basis – to be arranged by prior agreement subject to the needs of the Academy
Hours offered will usually fall within the core school hours of 8:30 – 3:30, term time only, 38 weeks per year
Contract Basis: Casual Worker Agreement

We are seeking to appoint a bank of casual Cover Supervisors, to join the existing Cover team within St George’s Academy. 

The successful candidates will be required to cover and supervise students and their work when a teacher is absent.

The ideal candidates will:

  • be able to motivate and inspire pupils;
  • have experience of working with children and managing behaviour;
  • have good attention to detail;
  • be keen to learn and develop their skills
  • be flexible and committed to supporting the work ethos of the Academy
