Many years ago at the Rockingham International Final, a director from the IET, always asked the students the same question. 'How are you going to achieve what you want to do in life?' His answer was 'a bit of hard work'. The result achieved in the final this year is down to a lot of hard work.
We are now officially the 3rd Best Team in the World.
We took 3 cars to the final this year at Goodwood Motor Circuit and all 3 of them performed really well. Borasco was the stand out car with a 3rd place, Zephyr finishing 8th and Sirocco in 11th out of 82 cars in the final and some 200+ in the entire competition. Borasco finished just 17 seconds off 1st place over the 90 minute race.
We have had an incredible season with four 1st places, two 2nd, two 3rd and awards for the Best Engineered Car and Spirit of Greenpower. That takes the trophy count to 58!!
None of this would be possible without Mr Mitchell, Mrs Wetherill, Mr Jennings and Mr Greens help, so a huge thank you to you all.
