Common Tri-Service Programme & Activities

All CCF Cadets regardless of their parent service study and complete a variety of common activities. These include military specific topics such as: principles of marksmanship; navigation; camouflage & concealment; military knowledge; drill; field craft and more generic life skills such as: team-building; leadership skills; first aid; bicycle and vehicle maintenance.

Cadets also have the opportunity to take part in exciting outdoor activities such as, mountain biking; climbing; high ropes; abseiling; canoeing; hill-walking and expeditions.  Cadets can also access the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and gain HSE recognised first aid qualifications.

Whilst taking part in all these exciting activities, Cadets can also work towards other nationally recognised qualifications.

St George’s CCF is fortunate to have a core team of dedicated staff, together they have over 90 years Armed Services experience.  The staff work with the cadets and are responsible for the design and delivery of our CCF programme.
