We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Design and Technology to join a successful and talented team of staff.

Hours: Full / Part-time considered

Start Date: For January 2022. Actual start date to be agreed on successful appointment

We are looking for someone with a background in Resistant Materials / Construction who will be expected to teach a range of related subjects at KS3; teach Construction and other Design Technology subjects at KS4 / KS5 and work closely with the Head of Construction and Director of Design and Technology.

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
Salary: NJC Scale 1, points 1-3 £15,127.87 to £15,738.35 (actual)
Hours: Term time only, 39 weeks per year. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Usual working hours are 8:30 to 4:30 with a finish of 4:00 one day per week, to be agreed dependent on Academy needs). Part time hours will be considered.
Contract Basis: Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.
Closing Date: 9am on Monday 27 September 2021

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Technician to help with the smooth running of the Design and Technology Department at our Sleaford Campus.

Duties will include maintaining and cleaning equipment; pre-class preparation for displays and exercises; ensuring equipment and materials are available for staff and that work areas are kept clean and tidy.  A willingness to be flexible, a cheerful disposition and an interest in technology are required.  Current and relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

APPRENTICE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

Salary: Apprentice rate of £4.30 per hour in the first year
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (to be worked between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm on a shift system), 52 weeks per year
Contract Basis: 18 months Apprenticeship
Closing Date: 9am on Monday 20 September 2021    
Interview Date: Interviews will take place adopting social distancing principles 

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Maintenance Operative to join the Estates Team whilst gaining knowledge and skills to provide a quality service. As a part of this role, you will qualify in a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative qualification in partnership with Priory Apprenticeships. The role will work across both our Sleaford and Ruskington campuses with the primary base at Sleaford.

This fantastic opportunity will help you learn and ultimately understand the mechanism of buildings including electrical, plumbing, plant, safety systems and equipment. You will come to provide first and immediate response to fault finding, whilst becoming a reliable member of the team.

INVIGILATORS REQUIRED

Salary £8.91 per hour
Hours – by arrangement
Casual Worker Agreement

We are seeking to recruit reliable and highly organised individuals to assist with public examinations.

Responsibilities will include greeting and seating candidates, distribution and collection of examination papers, invigilation of examination sessions and ensuring compliance with exam board regulations at all times.

The hours would be by arrangement throughout the examination seasons.
